PUPPY FOUNDATIONS
Building Confidence and Skills for Puppies
- Session Length: 4 weeks, 1 Hour per class (with an additional 20 minute Q&A after each class)
- Cost: $325.00
- Location: 41 River Rd E, Unit 7
- Recommended for: Puppies 9-16 weeks of age
The Puppy Foundations Class is thoughtfully designed for puppies aged 9 to 16 weeks, providing a vital stepping stone for both pups and their guardians. Our curriculum introduces basic commands and cues, setting the groundwork for lifelong learning. Special attention is given to essential potty training techniques, ensuring a smooth and less stressful transition into your home.
Throughout the course, we will tackle common puppy behaviors such as biting, chewing and jumping. Practical solutions and positive reinforcement strategies are offered to address these challenges, helping to nurture well-mannered companions. Puppies are also guided through appropriate greetings and are introduced to socialization opportunities—not only with other puppies but also with people and a variety of everyday distractions. This exposure encourages adaptability and poise in real-world settings.
Beyond obedience basics, we emphasize the development of confidence and independent thinking. Engaging in games and interactive activities are woven into each session, allowing puppies to apply their new skills while having fun! These playful exercises foster resilience and curiosity, important traits for any new puppy to navigate the world.
To support both puppies and their guardian, every session concludes with an open Q&A. This dedicated time ensures that all participants can voice their questions or concerns, receiving personalized guidance from our experienced trainers. Our aim is to empower you with the knowledge and support you need as your puppy grows, learns and thrives!
